I think you're brilliant, but that's just me.
I'm 39 and my wife is 30. We're about to start our family - both of us waited until we were older.
Now, we've both got solid careers, and we're capable of being the great parents we always wanted to be. We're reliable, dependable, wise, and prepared. It's the best-possible time for us to start a family.
We'll be able to provide for a family now, and we've not been fully capable of this prior to now. We've got everything ready, and now we can start.
Don't worry - you're more ready than you've ever been, and you're mature enough to make wise parenting decisions and be the best-possible parent/spouse.
Congratulations on doing it right. It's actually a trend right now - many couples are waiting until they're sure they can support a family before starting one.
We're ready. You are too. Enjoy~

You're not too old.
Women are safely having children later in life with fewer problems now.
As for dating age ranges, I don't really believe in them. Find someone who feels the way you do about the things you like and dislike, and do whatever you need to do to be serious about a long-term relationship.
Look at men around you now that you respect or like, or just wonder about, and be assertive. Guys are more insecure than you think.
Good luck!

28, or 30, is definitely NOT too old. A lot of women (and men, too) are having families later in life. They wait until they have achived some financial stability, matured themselves, finished a late college degree, and many other reasons. I didn't start my family until I was in my early 30's. All 3 of my children are great.

Anyone from 18-35 I'd say would be complete butter, you can defenitley start a family at your age. My mom didn't have me til she was 31, my sister she had at 35. I know women who have had children in they're 40's...with modern medicine anything is possible. Don't give up hope, the right person is out there for you.

Not too old at all. It probably would be better because you are more established in your life. You could date men in any age range you want, really, that's up to you and whatever willing guys you can find.
