Herald Patch On Leg

After pityriasis rosea was diagnosed in my son, I looked it up in a pocket medical book I had, and learned it could last up to three months, but if you let the sun get to it in the first week or so (?) , you could get rid of it in two weeks. I let him play outside without his shirt (February in Georgia), and it did go away in just a few days. My sister said she'd had it for several months and that it itched like crazy. The itching didn't seem to bother my son, though. I don't recall any sick feeling with it, but there may have been some, since I took him to the doctor... The headache and eyes hurting sounds more like a sinus problem. Is this likely?

Yes.

Although it's always taught as appearing on the chest, back, & trunk, it's well documented as also appearing on the legs...p

I once got one on my wrist and so I imagine you can get it on your leg.

I also got the condition for a second time and the doctor said he had never heard of people getting it twice.
