OK so I'm kidding.
i think the best thing to do is to put yourself out in situations where people you would want to date would hang out at. i would look for an educated woman because my wife is, i would want someone who was smart so i would go to a place where i might find someone like that. dating is a problem once you have been married and have two kids but it isn't impossible.
think of the type of man you would want to meet and then ask yourself "where do i find him". i don't know what i would do if i was divorced as the women interested in me have always been in a "lower" position in life than myself.
you sound neat and i would love to talk to you some more.

Ah.. where to meet guys? Certainly not the bars. How about Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million or some other large bookstore. At least you’ll be guaranteed to meet someone who can read! If you want to meet someone who is handy around the house- try Home Depot or Lowes or some other popular hardware store. For the sports minded, try hanging out at the ballpark, gym or court (basketball or tennis - not municipal!). Also, food and wine festivals are always a good bet.

You could take a cooking class or something at the local college. Honestly when I was single I liked the dating services online. There are a lot of people on them and it's neat in the way that you can make a check list and then only have contact with men who meet the criteria on your list. It's also a fun way to get to know a lot of different people. try lavalife.com - I've met a lot of guys from that over the years, and I found, just like anything else - there were good guys and bad guys. Just be safe!
