I feel it depends on what you believe in. If all religions view the same “God” then we’ll all end up together. Me in my Summerland & you in what ever you believe in.

Death is the separation of our spirit from our body. When we die it will be like walking through a doorway from one room to another. The next spiritual dimension that we go to will depend on the choices we have made in our mortal life. We either go to a place of spiritual paradise or spiritual prison (often referred to as heaven or hell).
This, however, is not the final destination. While in this spiritual dimension we will continue to have opportunities to learn and grow spiritually. Our existence will seem as real and natural to us as our present existence does. During this time we will essentially be waiting for the resurrection spoken of in the Bible that will begin during the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Resurrection is where our spirits are reunited with an immortal body and a final judgement takes place. At this time everyone who has lived on earth will receive a degree of glory depending on the kind life led on earth (See I Corinthians 15:40-42), (John 14:2).

This question has to do with the debate of whether it is the mind or the soul that which defines the real you. If the soul defines who you really are, then many different religious beliefs talk of different versions of an after life. For those who believe they are defined by the mind rather than the soul, since the mind is a product of the brain, then obviously once the brain dies, that which is you dies with it, and everything ends. This is a very scary thought, that of eternal nothingness. Religion provides a shelter and hope against this primal fear. I sure hope there is something after, but I believe my mind defines me and once my brain dies, I die, forever.

I will be going to heaven to be with my friends, my son that I lost when I was 4 months along, my family that has gone before me, and my loving Mother whom I lost in April of 05. I picture heaven as a beautiful garden filled with every type of flower possible where no one has to work nor be in pain and where the sun always shines with big fluffy white clouds that drift slowly by. There will be no sorrow, no tears, no losses, no worries. Heaven will be a place like no one could ever imagine and a place that I hope we all will be!! God Bless Everyone! :) :)

6 feet under... the end... sorry, no redos... this is why you've got to take advantage of the now. Rather than taking comfort in the fact that you will go to "heaven" (which is based on a fictional story), take comfort in the fact that once you die, it's over. That's when things will start to "happen" for you.

Tech Duinn mostly, with occasional visits to Tir na nOg. Some time at the Elysian Fields with Thanatos. Until I outgrow this phase, then I'll spend the rest of eternity exploring everything outside of time and space and becoming omniscient.

I know that my home is in Heaven and after my body dies I will go to be with the Lord Jesus. I know this because I have trusted the Lord Jesus as my Saviour, had my sins forgiven.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Only one possibility exists unless you see God as being so incompetent that He can not even organize a simple educational field excursion and bring all the students back home safely.
This would only be possible in a silly Christian fantasy about God.
