Looking for the common view and the medical classification. Specifically, what do you think it is, and what would you classify it as? (Medical condition, psychological disorder, myth?)

Naturally, nothing is simple. In some cases it is a medical condition, as a result of being born with male and female body parts.

In some cases a person is born one gender, but always feels as if they belong to the other.

Society is coming to accept transgenderism more, but even so, there are a large number of intolerant people out there.

Transgenderism earlier not considered as natural response but a pshycological problem. Now advance medical research in the field bringing in theory & concepts about transgenderism. Try the website below. These are really informative.

I know people that are trans-gendered. I dont think they are psycho or a med condition and etc... It is a proven fact, i have read it, that the mothers chromosones and the childs didnt "mix?"
That deals with trans and gays. I think they are def born in the
wrong body.. Have nothing against any of them..

I've know a couple of 'transgendered' people. It is not a medical condition, it is evolution.
