I am a Christian and I don't think you will go to hell. If Gods power and knowledge are infinite then why wouldn't his grace also be infinite. Hell is a real place but I think it is empty but for Satan. The cost of one soul is too much for a God whose love is infinite and unconditional. Suppose you made a decision to accept Jesus as your savior tonite. You wake up tomorrow and are on your way to the nearest church to join and start learning about God. You step out in the street and WHAM!!!! you get hit by a bus. Are we supposed to believe that at that moment God says "Oh well, I almost had that one." Are we supposed to believe that God isn't more powerful than a bus. There would be only two reasons that God could not save every single person. He can't, which calls into question his being all powerful. Or, he doesn't want to, which calls into question his being all loving.

There are only two places your soul goes when you die and that is to heaven or hell. To go to heaven all you have to do is believe and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. He died for your sins, He was buried and took away your sins and He rose again the third day for your justification. To go to hell all you have to do is be at a age where you know right from wrong and reject what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you and die. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: You say you believe there is no God. God's Word calls you a fool and the heavens declare there is a God. Psalms 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalms 19: 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

What is stopping you from believing? Is there a question or questions that you want to ask? Then if there is go to a pastor and ask them. They do not want you to join their church - they (some of them) want to be asked questions. They did not go to school for 4+ years just to speak for 5 hours a week and then rest the other part of the week.

If you do not believe in God then what do you believe in? Everyone believes in something.

Now if you are truly interested in coming closer to God then I would find a church that will help you grow and grow in the way that God intends you to grow. You must come along with other believers and continue to walk the walk and talk the talk. It is not simply saying "I am a christian." It is a lifelong journey that will take you from one place to another. It is an amazing journey.

I will not entertain the going to hell question. It is never too late to come home to God.

No one really knows for sure. Everyone has their own beliefs.

I guess a good place to start is to ask yourself if you feel that there will be justice in the end. Will there be a righting of all the wrongs that have ever occurred? If you believe this then this would be an eternal justice concept (i.e. final judgement).

Then the question is "are there mis-deeds that you will have to face justice for?" If there are (the Bible says that "all have sinned"), then our good works will never balance out our bad works (It would be like trying to tell the judge that you shouldn't have to pay a ticket for speeding because you were nice to people yesterday). Many don't really think about justice however until they have been wronged. It's interesting to watch a court hearing after someone has been convicted of murder and sentenced to capital punishment. The family members still want justice even though the murderer may be receiving the death penalty.

Basically, the Bible says that all of us will stand before justice in trouble (Romans 3:23 and 6:23). We have all sinned. But, according to the Bible, God has made a provision for our sins and misdeeds. According to the Bible, Jesus was punished for our sins. He took the justice/judgement that we deserve upon Himself at His execution on the cross. What God offers to all those who believe this, is mercy and not justice. Justice was satisfied at the execution of Jesus. Mercy is what is offered through God's provision for man's sin, Jesus Christ.

I can't say where you'll go after you die. I believe that that is God's business. But, I received Jesus as my savior 35 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. It begins by just believing this good news of what God has done for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. It truly is a message of love, hope and peace.

I hope this helps. And, know this. I respect what ever you chose to believe. Thanks for letting me share.

Peace.

They say in the book "people that don't know they are dead"
that most people that did not have any religion or hopes for afterlife, are the ones that most likely continue wandering in human's world, not knowing that they should go to the light.
You will not go to hell, because it is on earth, and only really BAD people really go to "hell" which is being reincarnated right away without a day of "vacation in heaven" where most spirits get to relax after a terrible journey called life. What you need to do, is to have an open mind and believe that after death your conciseness will survive, and go into different dimension. In the
meantime, just follow one rule:" Don't do onto others what you would not want done onto you." Good luck.

i'm positive, no you will not go to hell. because there is really no such place.
you are beginnning to see the truth. you don't have to believe in god.
from the point of view of science - the reality God does not exist- its not real.
from the point of view of religion-people BELIEVE God is almighty.
Religion is just all about beliefs, what people thing about their Gods and how
But belief is a necessity in a man's mental health-it is what makes you stay alive.
you can believe on anything what you think is best for your mental health. don't fight against it otherwise you'll get sick

Genesis 3:19 "In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you will return."

God said this to Adam after he partook of the forbidden fruit. Of all people, Adam is one that you would think would go to "hell" but here God says that he will return to the ground. He was non-existent before God made him from the dust, and he was non-existent (returned to dust) when he died. It doesn't say he went to "hell". There is no such thing as hell. No loving God would send his creation to an eternal fiery torment.

Romans 10:11-13 For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed,. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.For Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Revelation 19:20 - and the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

It is not too late for salvation. Read The Revelation. It's a real eye-opener.

Of course you won't go to hell! But if you don't believe in MY god you will be forced to eat pickled pigs feet and watch hefty women belly dance for all eternity.*

You see, one of the biggest commonalities in most staunch, organized religions is the use of fear to scare people into believing in and obeying their Gods and doctrines. Many will even tell you that they know what terrible things will happen to you in the after life or your next life if you don't believe and do everything they want you to. They know these things will happen because their "god" Oog Oog the Great told them so in his divine writings that were, um, written by people.

What could their motives possibly be for trying to terrify people into believing in their gods and their doctrines. For the sheep (the general congregation) who have bought into the fear based message, their motive is the hope that what they are doing will keep their "loving" god from torturing them and/or their loved ones for all eternity. For the leaders of these religious groups, the motives are pretty clear: power, money, adoration and job security (and fear, of course, lets not forget that).

*The whole pickled pigs feet thing was just used to make a point and is not real, so please don't be afraid.

I would be more worried about hell on earth!
Since we don't really know where we are going after death, it is more prudent to find heaven on earth.
I would say do the right things and be good in general will lead one to the right path. Being bad and treating others badly will usually lead you to the wrong path. I would just stick to common sense, not get in trouble with the law and try my best to be considerate and kind. Not being on drug and under the influence of alcohol should help too! As we all know, one cannot be happy like being in heaven after the drug and alcohol wear off.
This sounds pretty simple but it really requires a lot of self control and discipline.
