Keratoconus (cone shaped cornea) is the deformity of the cornea that is inherited.It causes severe vision defect, and the vision can be corrected only by contact lens.

no but I used to work in a ophthalmology office and saw one patient with it. not very common you don't hear of it often but If I remember right the doctor was able to reverse it.
