here's probably the only thing that 'fundies' and atheists seem to agree on-that there's no such thing as a liberal Christian...it's a myth they cling to because it gives them a reason to fight

Liberal and Fundamentalists determination on the numerous view of the Bible. Liberals say that distinct the Bible does no longer might want to be observed because it became written for a diverse time as ours. they say that distinct the memories like Jonah and the huge Fish and Noah's Ark at the instantaneous are not real yet have classes we favor to study from them. really, Liberals p.c.. aside the Bible and stick to what seems desirable to them. Fundamentalists, on the different hand, believe that the Bible is incredibly sparkling about what God defines as SIN. the hot testomony is sparkling that homosexuality and adultery is faulty. women and men have roles contained in the kin, that God has ordained, that are not demeaning. Fundamentalist believe that the Bible is God's be conscious to us. Liberals view it as a tale e book.

I'm a "liberal" Christian. I give liberally of my time, talents, and treasures to God's Kingdom. I always try to balance Grace with Truth in my interactions with others. However if by "liberal" you mean that as a metaphor for "compromising", then I'm not that type of liberal Christian.

By "fundamentalists", do you mean people from the Bible-Belt who are part of the Republican party and take every word of the Bible literally? Well, I'm not one of those. I'm not from the Bible-Belt, I'm a Moderate, and I take everything in the Bible as infallible considering the different genres that the Bible contains, like poetry (the Psalms, the Song of Solomon), ancinet Near-Eastern Wisdom literature (like Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes), rhetoric (like Habbakuk), and Apocalyptic (like Revelation and parts of the Prophets and Lamentations [sort of]).

In all honesty, I don't really know what to call myself, I truly dislike fanatics, they are too, I dunno, frantic lol.

Neither do I care for those who are so laid-back in their theology as to make me wonder if they smoke pot lol.

I guess I see myself as the type that just does her best to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, by doing things the way He did them instead of the way I want to do them, and I always come out on top when I do. Usually, if I do it just like Jesus did it, I not only learn something about myself and others, but I get some really cool blessings too!

So I dunno, what am I? Liberal or conservative, I'm a Christian lol
