Take the bus...stop driving for unnecessary lengths of time. Buy a car that wastes less fuel.

Start riding a bike, walk, or even take the transit. Not only will you save on gas consumption and help to keep our air cleaner but I know in Canada you will be getting tax breaks for buying bus passes. Unfortunately, this is not an option for all, due to some of us travelling throughout the GTA for buisness, but most of us could sure do our part.

Pay for gas with cash instead of credit cards (you see then how much it really costs not just bleeps on a screen).
Leave your vehicle home as much as possible. (That is, spend time at home instead of driving.)
Ride a bike for outings, say to the local parks or library.
Combine chores that require transportation (don't go to the drugstore and then after a bit go back to the same area to buy postage stamps). Plan your day so you'll know where to go after each chore so that you get several things done in one outing.
Properly inflate your tires.
Keep you car clean. A dirty car causes drag that affects mileage.
Drive the speed limit.
Carpool if possible.
Offer to take a friend to do shopping (one car on the road instead of two).
Schedule college classes at the same time and carpool.
Pay bills online.

As a nation, we should slap a tax of at least $3/gallon on motor fuel to make people look hard at ways to conserve.

As individuals, we can:
1.  Move closer to work (or work closer to home).
2.  Carpool.
3.  Combine trips.
4.  Buy and use the most efficient vehicle we can.
5.  Bike, walk, or do without gas when we can.

We can't and we never will. 90% of us are to lazy to walk or bike a couple blocks. Like my neighbors, both in their 30s, good health, and live with in 50 yards of the gas station next to our trailor park. yet they REFUSE to walk. They start their car up, and drive 50 DAMN YARDS! People like that are the reason why we are consuming more gas then normal. Americans have gotten lazy. Plus short trips and stop and go driving is what makes vehicles get bad gas miliage, therefore they fill up more often, driving the prices up. If you live in a small town, just walk for christ sake! It wont kill ya! its actually better for you! Not only are you staying healthy, but your not using so much gas, or polluting the enviroment. See you killing 3 birds with one stone.

So I believe the gas prices will only get worse. And its not the governments fault, or the oil companys. it OUR FAULT. Sorry.. I just got to rambling.....

No we can't the time it takes from start to end is a minimum of ten years, if some thing ought to have happened it ought to have happened while Ronnie became residing interior the White residing house. not now. Why have this way of super kind of refineries been taken off line, why have this way of super kind of wells been capped right here in this u . s ., if power(oil) became so important? It became not with regard to the OIL, Boys & females, it became, and is with regard to the "earnings". You, (the OIL agencies), administration the provision, you administration the fee. You cap wells right here in this u . s ., you chop back the uncooked cloth, you boost the fee. You cut back the refinering ability of that uncooked product, you boost the fee. This plan has been in result considering Ronnie became President. The PNAC knew then what might deliver this u . s . to this is knees, and that they have got carried out their plan very properly, and the lemmings have offered into the plan hook, line, and sinker.

Stop jumping in the car by yourself whenever you have a whim to go shopping or wherever. Consolidate trips, take public transportation, car pool, see if you can work from home. Just be more mindful of your car usage.
