Neither one is better; or acceptable. Had a daughter who almost died from anorexia; and she thought she was fat. If you are overweight see a specialist and take the necessary steps to align your weight with your height and frame. Don't try it yourself. It takes a little time but is a doable thing. Myself; I consume no sugar, processed white flower and ride a bike or walk. Dropped my weight to 170 and have held it for three and half years.

For one's health? Neither...to join the current trend or just to find clothes that fit right (I'm naturally thin and am suddenly having a hard time finding clothes in my size) , overweight.
And it's not a coincidence that my difficulty in finding clothes that fits has all of a sudden occurred as most Americans are getting fat...

It is probably better to be over weight because when you are anorexic you just look sick all the time, but if you are over weight then you know you are geting enough food(Ha Ha), but probably neither because you want to be healthy.

First off, GREAT picture.

Second, I hate to say it, but being underweight may be healthier than the pressure put on your heart, and clogging fat in heart and arterties that comes with being fat. Ofcorse neither is good, and some think 20 pounds overweight is optimal.

They will both lead to death. when you are annerexic you are malnourished and are putting your body through an unpleasent experience. When you are obese you put stress and strain on your entire body, mostly your heart and kidneys. which is also, an unpleasent experience. For the individual, niether is better. For the guy who works at the funeral home, annerexic is better because its easier to move around your dead body.

I'll say its better to be overweight. Just because a person is overweight doesn't mean that they're automatically unhealthy. Now, anorexic vs. morbidly obese, that's another story...

you've passed the point of no return. why don't you just be like those fatasses on Oprah that cant get out of bed and die a lonely death. food is good, but not THAT good. get a hobby for goodness sake!

oh and to answer your question, you should definitely go for anorexic

Well, neither, but if I had to choose, I would have to say overweight. From what I have heard about anorexia, it kills faster than overweight, and it is very hard to get over anorexia.

NEITHER - both are killers (obesity and no food). What's up with that question? Either way -if that is your picture -you are going to die at a young age.! But NEITHER are attractive if that matters at all.

That depends. It's better to be slightly overweight than slightly underweight. But it's better to be slightly underweight than morbidly obese. But a morbidly obese person still has a chance at living longer than a morbidly underweight person.

^^Razzy you stole my answer ^^ B*tch! ;-)
