If you want to get out there and start teaching and helping people like the bible says then you have to want to do it you can't just sit around and think about what it's going to take for you to get off your butt and do it, you have to really want to do it. And it is not a BS religion, people don't know what they are talking about.

you are soooo brainwashed that no one wants to even dare answer your crazy question. Christianity is dead.. it is a BS religion.. who needs religion. What singularizes christianity form any other religion out to be better? Arrogance for one.. I can go on and on.. about why religion can kill the person.. Too much can warp you and cripple you till that is all you think about- just like addiction.. If you travel enough you will see that on the other side of the world in Japan they use Shintoism (1000's of nature "gods" like thunder god... and rain god... sun god.. happyiness god.. there is not much structure.. they just wish for hapiness within and power or whatever suits your fancy to get by in life.. which is what religions purpose is.. it is helping peolle fear the after death less. or death in and of itself. Christianity galmorizes death.. As our culture glamorizes everything!!!:0 ) and Budhism.. and 1 percent people are christains there.. They are the most sweet and sincere and wholesome race I have ever met. So don't get all high and mighty thinking you are the best becasue of what YOU believ in.. No one wants to hear abraggart.. (I don't envy your mind- it seems pretty narrow to me.. travel a bit.. you sound very narrow and untravelled).

First of all, share about yourself. What are you doing about teaching and helping people?

Have you pulled anyone out of the crack houses lately? That would be good. How about take a homeless person home for a hot meal and a sleepover.

Why is your religion better than the one you are trying to supplant?

I read a history of hawai'i and read the account of a white missionary when he saw the Kilauea Caldera.

He was appalled that the natives practiced their beliefs about Pele, the Fire Goddess.

He chided them that their faith was not a religion but paganistic and he was representative of the one, true religion.

That is overweening arrogance at its finest.

Please let me know why God is better than Zeus, Odin or Uhura-Mazda?

Walk the talk has been a difficult process for all of us. We go through stages, we get caught up in our lives and the world around us and get confused, frustrated, dazed and sometimes just flat out fall asleep at the wheel (our lives). I like the words to the song "Let There Be Peace on Earth....and let it begin with me". If each of us begins with ourselves, then it will fan out..like a drop of water ripples in a pond. Don't give up ...be strong in your faith and you will begin to see that strength around you.

I didn't like your comments.. but I will tell you this. We are all blessed with different talents. I know some people that are not articulate and will in fact turn people off against Christianity. I for for one, am not blessed with that sense of reaching for the masses about the word of God.. and secondly, I am a coward. I am terrified of speaking in public. Quid pro quo.. what are you doing in terms of your own question... I am sure you are including yourself in your question.. Are doing anything about it? I dare you to rise to your own challenge..

Who says we don't? You see only a small fraction of our lives, just the 30 minutes or so spent on this board answering a question or two, and you have the audacity to judge us?

Friend, you should remember that God advises us to judge not, lest ye be judged in like manner. Are you prepared to be so judged?

it will take for our pastors and our leaders of our churches to get together and have a united cause instead of trying to see who has the largest church or who has the biggest alter call it is about our leaders who are only looking out for their churches fund s and not the neighborhood where their big church is standing how dare they have million dollar churches in poor neighborhoods with starving children on the same block

Desperation. When you realize that there are one million people a week entering into eternity. There should be a desperation that rises up in you. It won't be until we are desperate to see the lost in our altars repenting. That we will see such said actions from ourselves and others.

When you say us, I'm sure you are including yourself. Start with you, talk to others not necessarily Christians. spread the good news, Jesus is alive, and he is our friend, If you are a Christian you have a personal relationship with Jesus.
