That's a stupid question. You can either pay what they charge or walk. Don't be such an idiot.

Unfortunately, what you are willing to pay and what you are able to pay might be 2 different things.

Right now in my area gas is right at $3.00 a gallon. I would be willing to pay more I suppose, but I don't know if I would be able to pay more. At least, not if I still planned on eating.

As though we have a choice beyond walking or biking. The hike in gas prices will effect all forms of transportation except for walking and biking. The price of gas will also affect the cost of food and goods.

As far as how much I'd LIKE to pay - $1.50 is a good amount.

Whatever it takes to make my car go. We don't have a choice. If it reaches $10 per gallon we still must get back and forth to work etc... and it's not like only a few of us will have to pay a certain price, it's bad all over. I just hope it never reaches $10 per gallon!

I wouldn't complain because gas is about half the price of petrol and it really does pay to have gas. It is also wise not to put your foot flat to the floor because that also uses alot more gas.

I don't think I can answer till I actually have to. If I say no more than $4 and the cost actually rises above that, I'm sure some how, some way, I'll pay it. I won't like it, but I'll pay it.

I started riding my bike to work when gas hit 3 bucks a gallon. I'll ride that bike until it gets too cold this winter.

I was happy with .90 to 99 cents a gallon when I started driving several years ago. i think that's reasonable.
