I think a perverted guy broke in or walked in and killed her. I mean they found someone else's DNA on her panties that doesn't match her family. I firmly don't believe that her mom especially killed her.

Based upon her parents initial actions - they refused to answer questions, they hired a lawyer, they did not give any statement for months... how many people do you know who can control a homocide investigation? I do not believe in railroading anyone, but on the other hand, their evasive actions raise more than an eyebrow...

I may have had doubts if they had been upfront and forthright, but since they did just the opposite, I think they are both guilty, there is no way to know who did what, so I vote for acting in concert, conspiracy whatever you want to call it, but I think her parents played a major role in her murder.

From all of the things I've read about this and shows I've seen...I think her dad did and her mother helped cover it up. Come on....what burglar/rapist would break into a house....rape and kill a little girl...leave her body in the basement of the house and leave a ransom note...her body is in the basement...what was the ransom note for...???? I think it shows that the killer was trying to cover up something. PLUS there was evidence of child abuse way before her death. People in paegents with her reported seeing bruises on her arms etc. all the time.
