I think the moment a believer has their heart broken by something that is so without God they will get started. Whether it is bad church, unreached kids, poor people on the streets or a child on a World Vision ad, if it creates a holy discontent in the person they will not be able to stand staying where they are any longer.

Also, a change of mindset is needed. I don't think any amount of finger-pointing will do anything for a lot of people, but it can and does work for some because it challenges them and convicts them and it will be especially effective and respected if the person is someone they know or respect.

The rest however I think should not be judged too harshly but still clearly spurred on by being given a picture of how to look at reaching the lost. There is no magic formula, it is a change of mindset from one's own excuses to being focused on the lost and how we have the power to bless them and make a difference to them. We have the power to change the world through the gospel! And that is a wonderful privilege to have.

Blaming others is not the answer to getting people to witness. Everyone has different talents. Mine is not being a missionary or traveling into the world to share my faith. I don’t do well visiting with others (whether it is about Christianity, business, education or family). I witness through example, through writing, by wearing a t-shirt and having someone approach me, I can be a servant. Faith is the most important part of Christianity. You will not go to heaven with works… only with faith.

There are many people who witness all over the world, but for some, it is easier to travel 20 hours by plane to a foreign country to witness to strangers than to walk across the street and witness to their neighbor.

If you wish to witness to people who are indifferent or hostile towards Christianity, being an in-your-face Christian is not the answer. And part of witnessing is being respectful and courteous.

A leap of faith. On that day many will stand before Jesus and say look at all the things we did for you. Jesus will say, I never knew you, your works were in vain.

Before Christians get off their butts they will have to realize that their actions is what their faith is gauged by, not their words. They can make any claim they want but if their actions are different from the words, They are liars.

One must first look at what Jesus did, what he taught, how he lived. That is the model we who claim faith in Christ are suppose to do, but instead we play a game of religion and point the finger of blame at everyone else. We tell others that they are wrong when in fact we never look into the mirror at ourselves. What a shame. We condemn and cast out the very ones we are suppose to love. We never even consider the damage of our own actions.

How can anyone else believe in a loving God when all we do is promote otherwise, shame on us. But there are a few out there who do the works of Christ, who do reach out with real compassion. They do it without a lot of fan fair, they don't bring a lot of attention on themselves, but they are there. I see them and take part myself.

I don't ask that you believe what I believe, but if you ask I will explain that I do believe. I use the things that I have to help make others happy as best I can. I offer my time with kids with cancer by going to camp and riding on my motorcycle. But I don't know who truly gets more out of it them or me.

I go to outlaw bike clubs with my Colors (Christian Patches) on my leather vest. And hang out with them from time to time. Never do I condemn them, in fact many way just like them, look the same ride the same. Just believe something and try my best to live by it. And in that world you better or they will make sure you know it.

I stand in judgment everyday for what I believe and I stand by it. I do believe that Jesus is the Christ and don't really care what anyone else thinks. I'm not out to impress them. I am what I am, I can't be anything else.

I am not going to make you believe what I believe but if I am true by the walk then others will know if I am real.

It is about the relationship, the walk, my faith. That is the only thing that matters to me. I have chosen this for my life, and try to live it by the example shown me. I read what Jesus said and did and that is my goal.

If those who claim the faith I claim, and truly practiced it, and their actions back up what their lips spoke, they would set the world on fire. But I fear their faith is really in vain. And how sad is that?

I don't know what it will take but I would love to see some Christians go for it and tell the truth. I would love to see more young people minister to the world. Tradegy sometimes brings people to Christ or makes them more serious about faith, but who wants to suffer to realize that God is real.

Aside from learning how to spell, as important as that definitely is...persecution is actually one way. It weeds out a lot of the "casual Christians" and tremendous growth occurs.

I personally enjoy openly practicing my faith, but it probably won't always be like that.

Not to judge you but can you tell me where it is found in the bible where it tells us to go into the world teaching and helping people? It would be nice to have reference when people make comments refering to the written word of God

Be radical, contagious. As the Lord told Elijah after the showdown on Mt. Carmel, "You're not the only one." Keep shining your light in your neck of the woods, and I'll keep it going here.

Don't get distracted worrying about who is not working in the field. Be like Nehemiah and don't come off of the wall. if you are about a good work.

you might just try having some faith that God takes care of everyone spiritual needs without requiring you to be God's mouthpiece. seek to remove the plank from your own eye and keep your spiritual egotism to yourself. Christians don't have a monopoly on God.

PS. note that there is a spell checker provided.
