Today I switched to Firefox and liked it a lot.
How can I completely remove Internet Explorer from my computer. I'm using WinXP. Will it afect Windows in someway??

I just started using Firefox too. It is great isn't it. But you really need to uninstall IE. There really is no reason to do that.

It is not recommended to do this cause windows update only works through Microsoft Internet Explorer. By The Way you should get Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 it's almost as good as firefox.

It shouldn't affect windows but one of my buddies from work and I tried to get internet explorer back (her husband had deleted it since they used AOL and didn't know they could still use i.e)so we attempted to replace it by going to www.microsoft.com and finding a download there, well, we had to use the recovery discs after that because that's actually how you get it back the right way.

You can't delete it but you can set another browser as your default browser.K-meleon is a much faster browser than firefox or thunderbird.
