Our borders should be sealed at ALL times. They're our borders. We can have immigration, but it has to be controlled, legal immigration.

Just letting anybody waltz into this country, not knowing who the hell they are or what they want, is just plain stupid.

He wants free labor and certainly doesn't want the bad economy terrorists would provide.

His idea of a sealed border is one that lets everyone through except terrorists and maybe gang members. He's even come up with a kind of 'speed pass' to put on vehicles to go through a 'fast pass' tollgate. Who knows what will be in the back of the vehicles.

The fact that our neighbor to the south has no universal education and would love to have us educate their poor population at our own and our children's expense seems little enough to pay from his point of view since his friends would make a ton from cheap labor.

It isn't just Mexico, either, our diplomats are apparently encouraging India to go into another WTO negotiations round by saying we can 'work together to do away with artificial barriers to trade and labor'. So what kind of 'artificial barrier to labor' do you think he meant?

I have nothing against Mexicans or Indians. I have a great deal against unlimited immigration that doesn't protect our own services for our own people, however.

I agree. At least something is being done and that's better than nothing. What really pissed me off was when the whole lot of them banned together that day in downtown Dallas clogging the streets trying to prove something. They proved to me that they can clog up a street fast. They are trying to take over everything they can't even be bothered to wait in lines politely like everyone else. The drugs they're smuggling in. Terrible. They trash our country just like they've been doing theirs from the beginning of time. Then they expect me to look the other way. Well i will not. But I do think that a plan is in action. I also feel that it needs to be taken more seriously.

About 95% of the Hispanics coming over the border are die-hard Roman Catholics, not extremist Muslims. Plus, not too many terrorists come across the border, just those searching for a better life here in the states.

We are at war now, aren't we?? With Iraq, if I'm not mistaken? And the borders are by no means sealed, as everybody knows ... and if anyone believes that one of the posters above me, Sealrborders, is the REAL Seals, you can think again ... :)

Bush is an imbecile and needs to be impeached. If we had a smart Pres, he might realize something but Bush may be mildly retarded. You can tell there isn't much behind those eyes.

I really wonder about that. Seems at times that he is like Yahoo,, being double standard (like the way they yank our questions because the illegals don't like the truth). Hopefully Bush will realize what needs to be done before he leaves office and do it.

I doubt it. When has Bush ever realized what the right and smart things to do are?

Bush wants the U.S., Mexico and Canada to be all one country. He's made that clear enough.
