That would not be a good idea. I recently by accident tried to microwave a can of cheese dip...I'm so used to it being in a jar...just automatically put it in. Needless to say the microwave did NOT like this, the can totally lit up and made this awful sound. DO NOT microwave metal things and NEVER anything flammable!

Neither a spoon nor a fork has any result. Tinfoil scrunched into balls led to a mild-tutor with electric powered costs, regardless of the indisputable fact that the microwave did not explode. Microwaving metal can wreck a microwave by employing arcing antagonistic to the inner wall, sending electrical energy decrease back to the magnetron and destroying it.

the spoon would spark and light up the kerosene. and blow up the microwave. It would send the shrapnel into the air and damage things and severely hurt or kill anybody around it.

Bang. Or maybe a Boom. Or even a Whoosh. Probably a bright flash, and rush of heat. Then maybe a squealing noise from the smoke detector.
