I say prove it! By your actions the world will know. Don't give me lip service, Show me by your actions what you believe. If you claim to believe in Christ then show me by your example. Live a life by his model. Putting others first, showing compassion for others.

Words are hollow but actions are real. If you believe it, don't say a word, Live it!

I only claim My faith in Jesus, if you want to know if it is real, judge my actions not my words alone.

Good and Bad. I identify myself with Christ, and am hurt by the fact that a great majority of Americans do the same, yet hold no moral values. On the other hand, I am blessed beyond belief by some people who call themselves Christians. A great example: It was late and I ran out to the grocery store. I picked up about four or five items. I was in a rush and didn't have much money, and wasn't getting paid for another week. When I got to the register, a "Christian" came through the line, spoke, we exchanged greetings and when the cashier said the amount, the "Christian" swiped his card to pay for my groceries. The cashier commented, that what I like to see, Christianity in practice. The "Christian" said, that wasn't hard because he is my brother. I want to take care of the rest of the people in your line. There were four others behind me. (And he did.)

BTW- the last lady grabbed two extra snicker bars. THe nerve of the non-christians in the world. Do they ever bother you?

Keep praying for us. We are not perfect, just forgiven.

It depends on if the person is really christian. They are people who just say they are christian but do not live the lifestyle, Then there are christians who are actually christians. I happen to be one of those. I am truly christian. I have however ran into both. The ones that only say they are have not left an impression on me at all. The ones that are truly christians have left an ever so positive impression on me. I guess thats how you can tell the two apart. When you are truly christian, others can just tell. May God bless you !

know that not all people who call themselves Christian can even be considered Christian at all. Just because a person sits in church does not mean they even know God, some go to church out of sheer duty and think they are doing God a favor by going, but they walk out the door and return to their same vial ways and think that next week they will go apologies to God again and everything will be OK. If I call myself an apple tree that does not make me an apple tree, you must see the fruit to believe I am indeed an apple tree, as with Christians Jesus said "you will know them by their love."

The general problem with a lot of people who profess to be christian is that they tend to be hypocrites. They claim to have gained salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior and then use that to justify any of their bad behavior.

They claim that once you have supposedly been saved, there is nothing you can do to lose that salvation--so if they happen to have extramarital sex or have racial prejudices, it is ok because Jesus has already forgiven them. Yet Jesus himself condemned these practices. It doesn't seem logical that he would condemn these things and then not have consequences for someone who commits these sins.

I realize that nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, and I think God will be merciful to us if we make an effort to correct our mistakes and strive to do what is right. I just don't think that a lot of professed Christians truly follow Christ.

My impressions are of individuals. I've come to the belief though much experience (almost 20 years following Jesus Christ) that the terms believer or follower of Christ tell me when they are a Christian. The label Christian is used liberally anymore, and when it's favorable, it becomes a bad name because non-believer adopt it for themselves and their ungodly lifestyles paint an ugly picture of the body of Christ. When followers of Jesus Christ become persecuted, that's when the unreal fall away and we look more like Christ.
So the ones who call themselves "Christians" - I try to determine if they mean they believe and enjoy the power of God to change us from filthy slaves of a powerful devil (present ruler of this world) to part of a family of pilgrims (home is heaven and we're willing to walk) who bow their knees and declare with their mouths that Jesus is Lord.

Some christains leave a good warm feeling in you and can't help but think I want that. Then there the "christains" who go because there parents make them or it just is what they are used to. I am christain and my wrost fear is to become a christain who just used to everything and never steps out of there confort zone to help someone who is lost. I live with people who are lost and they think I am everything bad for loving Jesus but nothing could ever change my love for him.

My first response is "not again" and I remind myself not to be judge mental. Then I usually find out that they are what a typical Christian represents to me, someone who wants to judge you and convert you! Then I just choose not to share much space with them. Sometimes I am very happen to find Christians that are what I call true Christians, they don't judge and try to live Christ like.

I am one. Sadly, many times Christians can leave the wrong effect on other folks! They can be too pushy or just be too much like everybody else to show any difference.

Everyone is different in their own special way. I'm just glad in my heart that they have accepted Jesus Christ and have a place with Him in Heaven. You can do the same thing to.><>
