Perhaps a better question to start with is: why do Humans exist? The simplest answer is: to become everything that they can potentially become.

That simple answer is a clue to the higher scheme of creation.

God is the unknown and unknowable source of everything. God emerged from a unified state to create everything. God returned to a unified state to permit everything to evolve to the perfection of its own expression.

So from that perspective, the purpose of Human existence is to become fully conscious beings acting in the highest interest of our species, our planet, and all the realms to which we are connected.

In that process, we estimate God. We create a God that meets our needs at a particular point in our development. Sometimes that God is defined by our cultural, national, ethnic, or other setting. The God that emerges from such a context reflects the characteristics of that context.

Ultimately, we can connect with a personal God that holds the blueprint for our highest perfected state. The more we merge with our perfected self, the more we become conscious, compassionate beings.

Eventually, we evolve to the point where God the creator meets God the creation.

We get to know a lot of gods along the way.

Yes, God exists. That answer come from a person relationship. Is every religion correct?...No. If you examine the belief of all religions the you will find that Christianity, Islam, Jehovahs Witness, Budism, Hinduism, Mormanism are like Oil and water. To believe the tenants of one you must reject the tenants of another. A lot of searching thru religions led me to Christianity and to Jesus Christ. Do the comparative study and see what tickle your fancy and then pray to God as if He is sitting right next to you. It may feel silly but if you seek Him sincerely He will connect with you. Actually...if you seek a personal relationship with God first then the rest of your question, in time, will be answered. I'm praying that you give God (and then Jesus) a try :-)

there's no right or wrong answer, because none of the religions can prove anything. But what does it matter that God or The Gods do exist or not? The religions all have a book of teachings and you should live your life according to the teachings, and not according to the existance of a god or several gods.

Plus if you don't like your boss bossing you around, then why should you let God boss you around? You are in control of your life. The gods will guide you with their teachings, but cannot control you.

I have study Buddhism significantly, I not in any respect examine something about the Buddha actual declaring there become no God. I keep in mind, that once requested the questions concerning the origins of existence in the international, he basically did not answer them because it become not significant in relieving suffering. save in concepts, that once Buddha become round, the idea of Jesus wasn't even round yet. He lived in a time the position countless gods were answerable for each thing. in case you needed rain, you ask this god, in case you needed fireplace, you requested yet another. i imagine he become in simple terms attempting to make the point that you'll administration your own destiny, your emotions would nicely get replaced without the help of a so-called "god". extremely, it become truly problematic for me to except that there's a God, that is why i turned right into a Buddhist for a lengthy time period. yet, those days, particular issues have pointed me back to believing that there is an truly strong pressure available. Buddha become on objective so a procedures because the Dharma, yet i imagine God placed him there in this earth. Many reward to you!!!!

The best way to answer this question is to look at the origins and history of each of these.

All of these religions and their inherent beliefs have evolved over time, and have originated at a specific event in history.

Thus, they never existed before. So what did people believe before? Something different I would imagine.

So maybe you have to ask the question why do I need to believe in any of these? What am I fulfilling by doing so?

I believe that, as the Rig Veda says, "Truth is One, though the sages call it by many names." I believe that the same thing that Taoists call Tao is really the same thing that Christians call God, and so on. We may not all believe in the same things about that truth, but it's the same truth we attempt to describe. Atheists too have a way of describing truth that is not any more wrong than the religion's ways of describing it, in my opinion. There are different ways of thinking about reality.

No religion can offer an answer to this question: How could your religion be proved wrong? It can be shown that if no such proof exists, the religion (or theory, or whatever) can make no predictions: it is, therefore, useless. It follows that every religion is simply speculation, and can tell us nothing useful.
