In other words, I am a practicing witch and I am looking for a pagan prayer/devotional book that has affirmations I can incorporate into my day.

All of the books I've read have said pretty much the same thing, the prayer/ devotion is more potent if you write it yourself, it has more meaning than reading some one else's devotion to the powers that be. Make sure the wording sounds right to you. Beside, you the lord & the lady all know what you mean, why say a prayer that doesn't come from your heart?

There aren't many pagan devotional books, because the different paths are too diverse to have any one group's devotions be worth publishing. However, there are plenty of websites with pagan devotions listed, and there are some email lists that swap devotions & prayers.

I'm fond of the prayers at http://www.forlovingkindness.org/lksurvivalkit.html even though they're not specifically pagan. It's got several meditations in its prayers.

The Knowledge of the Holy

The Pursuit of God

You can read them out on line and get some fantastic insights into God's character. You're not an atheist right?

there are distinct human beings attempting to make money off of ladies and the feminist move. They write distinct undesirable books about the heritage and faith of the Goddess, etc.... that is a real shame because the religion of the Goddess is a fantastic aspect, even almost as good understood and practiced. My team considers the goddess Cybele to be the most precise classic representation of the primordial great mom Goddess, so i have study pretty a lot each e book on Cybele that there is. those by pseudo-students Lynn roller, Maarten Vermaseren, Philippe Borgeaud and could Roscoe are finished garbage and extremely suck. They repeat secondary source incorrect information, perpetuate risky and faulty stereotypes, and present genuinely no genuine insights into our faith. advantages, Jean

I can suggest a book by Frank Peretti entitled, "The Wounded Spirit". This book discusses the topics of bullies, the bullied, and the people witnessing the bullying. Or reading the Bible could help you and who ever it is you wish to help. Any "Chicken Noodle Soup for the Soul" books could work. Books written by Christian authors (like "The Chronicals of Naria" by C.S. Lewis, "Hangman's Curse" by Frank Peretti, "The Nightmare Academy" also by Frank Peretti, or the "Left Behind" series) may be a way to start out with because of the hidden messages inside their story line. There's "The Scientific Case for Christianity" by Dr. Jay L. Wile that my dear friend and sister in Christ raves about. It's a really good book for most cases. Other books by C.S. Lewis are usually a good choice. "Can Man Live Without God" and "Deliever Us From Evil" by Ravi Zacharias are good reads.

As for a prayer: I found one in my Rebecca St. James CD case for her CD "Transformed". It goes like this;

"If you've never committed you're life to Jesus, or if you need to 'get serious' about Him, please pray this prayer with me....
Dear Jesus... Thank you so much for loving me even when I don't deserve You at all. Lord come into my life, change me, break me, make me new, make me whole... forgive me. Purify my heart. Jesus I believe You died on the cross and rose again three days later. You are my savior and one day I will live with you forever. But meanwhile, help me to stand for You. To shine for You, to make a differenc and let Your truth be known. Use me Lord, Holy Spirit fill me to overflowing. I love you so much! In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I suggest praying from the heart and letting the word flow out of you that way it's more meaningful and you know they people you are praying for better than I, so change the paryer and fix it to fit your needs. I have a prayer for those of whom you speak but feel it would be more effective coming from you and not someone you know little about. I will write it down to help you so you can build off of it.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I am dealing with troubled people who have turned down a path that will surely be their undoing. Please Lord, help them to see the light and show them Your holy ways. If it is your will, I shall help in anyway I know how. Please Oh merciful God, lead them to your path and help them to see the faith of those around who share in Your love. Do not leave them out in the world with out at least being able to hear Your word and think about their chooses in life.
In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

How this will help you and God bless you.

I must apologize, then. I was hoping you or someone you knew wanted to changed.
