Society is ignorant in general. Think how wonderful the world would be if no one passed judgment and minded there own business when others aren't harming anyone or anything.

Discrimination is something that has existed since the dawn of man. Some biologists suggest that to some extent it's an instinctual behavior that drives us away from breeding with genetically incompatible mates. It's only our evolved social conditioning that allows us to override the urge to discriminate, and as we all know, there's a shortage of people with evolved social skills in the world.

Our society was founded by Puritans. (These were the first settlers from Europe, not the men who wrote the Constitution.) Puritans were religious fundamentalists who thought Europe was too worldly and sought to practice their religion here.

The Puritans killed the natives who helped them survive their first winter here; burned women at the stake as witches; and hardly bathed because they thought nudity was a sin.

Puritanical thought brought us things like alcohol prohibition and knee-length skirts in days past. Today we still reap its rewards, including the war on drugs, the war on terror, endless laws of every kind, and televangelists.

Hatred and discrimination come from man's desire to sin. God gave us all a free will, we can choose to link up with him through Jesus Christ or we continue to follow the paths of unrigheousness, which of the many sins we all do, those are there.

... the answer to this question is simple is easy society,, if we were to be ourselves then we would need on society, no con-toll no government, no church, the world would be a true free spirit and equal to all, but as we know it is society that is why we are in the bondage of life. the law of humans , to con-troll, the free spirit the spirit lives in bondage , and until the spirit is freed we will always find color, hate, rules that torture . that binds the free giving spirit of life.
