i see super model type women with fat or ugly or short guys. Why dont women care bout a mans apperance? Why do men care about a womens apperance? Women don't really care that a man is ugly, fat, or even shorter than a her??? Its werid that women arent that picky and men are!

and lots of girls look for appearence in guys
they say oh he's got or omg he is so cute
so girls do look at guys

I don't know how other women feel, but looks have never been that important to me. The reason being that looks are superficial, subjective and ephemeral-meaning, it's just a surface, everyone finds beauty in different aspects of a person, and looks fade with time, even in the world of Botox. Far more important to me has always been intelligence and a sense of humor. I don't care if the guy is a Johnny Depp look alike, if he can't make me laugh and is dumb as a box of rocks, i'm not even remotely interested.
It's not important to me how big around his biceps are or how much he can bench press, what his body fat percentage is or if he's got chisled features....i want to know if he's passionate and fun and witty and spontaneous. When you really get to know a person, care for them, love them, you'll find they're attractive to you in a way that goes far beyond skin deep. It's about the connection and how they make you feel, not about how good they look. It's not that we women aren't picky, we can be, to a fault, but we tend to be picky about the things that matter. We're looking for compatibility, not arm/eyecandy.
As for the bad boy thing...well, i think most of us go through that phase, i did in high school, got over that pretty quickly though.
And when it comes to confessing your love to someone, don't worry about who should say it first, say it when it feels right...if you love someone, and she loves you back, it won't be a mystery, it's usually blatantly obvious.

The reason you see women with less than the ideal looking guy is because we get to know the person on a intellectual and emotional level, not just appearance. The better you get to know someone the better they look.
Yes women do still find the badboy look attractive, but don't necessarily look for that in a guy to date.
And I don't think it matters who reveals love for the other first, I think it is more of a stigma that a women is suppose to because they guy does not want to look less manly, but this is crap. If it is going to scare her away, then that is because she probably does not have the same feelings for him.

Maybe they choose men that are total opposite from them because of how they treat them. Or maybe before they looked like a super model they were once fat and ugly. Who knows everyone has their reasons. As for saying I love you first I always thought when a women said I love you first it scares the man away.

alot of people say 'you could do better' when they see me with my boyfriend...but these are the people basing their judgment on appearance. The people who know me and my bf think we're perfect for each other, he makes me laugh and feel great and I think I'm lucky to have met someone with such an amazing personality-he doesn't care what other people think of him and that makes him smoking hot in my eyes!
The fact is attractive guys are usually dull and try to be something they are not, arrogance is a right turn off (in my experience) and when looking for an actual bf (someone you are going to spend time with, not just look at) personality is far more important.
My bf also told me he loved me first...I was the one who thought I'd scare him away by saying it first! to answer why men put so much emphasis on a women being attractive I wouldn't know...but I'd like to find out!!

I think people should just mind their own business. Who cares if a super model is with some one who you might consider fat or ugly? What business is it of anyone's but the person who's with that person. Maybe the fat, ugly guy is an awesome person, who treats her like a queen. People put WAY too much focus on outward appearances and that's what causes issues with our society.

The super model is probably with the fellow because he treats her with respect. In a relationship that is very important. Doesn't matter if he is short, fat, bald, tall, skinny or what ever, as long as he is hygenically clean, has manners and has respect for the woman he is with.
As for saying 'I love you' if you mean it then say it. She/He will know if its for real, by the way you treat her/him

because men are shallow and go by looks 1st and women dont. we are more mature. depends on the girl to the kind of looks she likes. i like a nice guy cause thats wut my bf is. i want the man to tell me his feelings 1st. i wait for him. i want the man to take charge of the relationship but not control me. i want him to to make the 1st move and things like that.
