what i mean is like restricting them and making the kid go crazy with 10000000000 rules. for example: when i lived with my mom, no rules at all and i cleaned the house every day and cooked dinner for my mom did my homework. then i moved in with my dad and he has so many rules it made me go crazy and i started sneaking out, fooling arround with boys, doing drugs and stealing and drinking.........

what im wondering is WHY the hell wont parents listen to their kids whan they say that what the parent thinks is best for the kid really make the kid rebel?

ps dont give me **** about the stuff i do it was just an example

Not sure what you're really asking. Some rules are necessary to keep your kids healthy & safe. Having no rules is irresponsible and practically neglect. It's your duty to raise your child right. On the other hand, too many rules, and certainly arbitrary rules that have no real purpose aren't particularly helpful either. The goal is to strike a balance between overly permissive and excessively restrictive. Not necessarily an easy thing to do.

Most parents do the best they can.

Your mom did your homework? That's not a good thing. Sounds to me like your mom was worthless ( no offense but if what u say is true then yeah she was pretty much worthless) and your dad had in all likely hood NORMAL PARENTING SKILLS unfortunately for you since they were on different pages, you chose to go back to whoever would let you do what when you wanted. Parents make the rules. Its up to kids to follow them or there's consequences for those actions. Sadly you wouldn't know so much about that since that is not what your mother instilled in you.

You're in your parent's house! You should obey the rules.. if you can't live with their rules, then live somewhere else.......how old are you? 14? 15 ? when you turn 18, you can do what you want! Your time will come when you will be the one giving your kids the rules... and you will know why is it like that! As you mature, you'll understand why! Trust me!

It's the parents rules, you deal with them. Just because they give you rules doesn't mean that you have to rebel. That's your choice so maybe you shouldn't be blaming that on all of the rules. You'll understand when you have a child of your own.

The Bible says for children to obey there parents. So if the children are raised in a Godly home then they need to follow there parents rules.

exciting question. i think of that some non secular exposure is robust because of the fact it provides toddlers a set of ethical and ethical values that solutions to a non-parental, supposedly infallible source. i think of that forcing toddlers to be non secular often ends poorly nonetheless. It rather does not count which faith toddlers join confirm you later as they have confidence and opt to be better human beings. i think of it fairly is the wonderful present which would be aquired by ability of ability of religion...the opt to be a good man or woman and the understanding of the thank you to be that man or woman. yet in a diverse way of asserting it would desire to easily as actual be social norms, yet then there does not be a reason to attain those norms.

If you were so happy with your mom, why'd you move in with your dad?
