How often do you think of, and take seriously, your own evolution as a human being?

Evolution is a JOKE!!!! How can you take the idea that we came from a monkey, rock, or a BIG BANG seriously?. Come on man!

I wake every morning knowing that I have evolved beyond the person I was the day before, the things that I saw, heard, felt and tasted change my perspective on the world and how it works.
this is my personal evolution I am speaking of and not the evolution of mankind in general.
AND I take it VERY seriously.

I think about it seriously very often. I wonder how we are engineered to compliment and co-exist in the universe. I contemplate how small we are and how short human existance has been so far. There are so many imponderables that I get overwhelmed at times. I sometimes think that my thoughts on the cosmos may be preoccupying me more than I realize.

We are surrounded by the proof of biological evolution. It is everywhere, so I think of it often. If you mean evolution in a more metaphorical sense, I try to think about it at least once a year.

I think about "how far I've come" all the time.

I think about "how far I've got to go" all the time.

I'm so thankful and appreciative.....all the time.


What I try not to do is "regret" much. I reflect occasionally on my mistakes and my immaturity and ignorance ......but I don't dwell on it. It's something I cannot change. I've learned from the past and use it to keep me from making too many of the SAME mistakes....twice.....or more.

I feel fortunate.
