It's all nuclear brinkmanship at this point.. The NoKor leader will get what he wants politically and economically by all his saber rattling. The threat is not immediate. A preemptive strike will mean national suicide for NoKor. As far as i know, their leader is not muslim and therefore not a martyr. China, their biggest ally, doesn't appear to full support them, especially in view of China's national goal of dominating world economic markets.

I live in California and I'm going to say that there is no threat from North Korea. Their first missile launches failed. And if they did attack us, we'd attack them back along with some other countires such as Japan. Think about it: North Korea's just trying to show its nuclear weapons to tell the world that it wants to be a superpower. North Korea is poverty stricken, they don't have any allies, they don't have the potential of fighting a war or starting WWIII, and their leader is a crazed maniac who thinks he's intelligent. The US also has a missile interceptor program (not so sure if it was successful). If North Korea were to launch their missiles, it'd hit a wrong target and probably end up firing at its own nation.

tHE THREAT FROM kOREA IS OBVIOUSLY nothing to worry about. 1 if they did aim for us we have the technology to find out where it is going to hit and what we could to to stop/evade/evacuate the attack. Sure we may lose people but think of this: it would start WW3 as we know it. When was the last time America took a nuclear bomb? Never. Sure Pearl Harbor was bad but really, a nuclear bomb? We would answer and we would march right in. Either with men or with what? Another Nuclear Bomb. Their economy would never be able to support a war and think about it. Neither can we. The threat from Korea is pointless. If we leave them alone but in the corner of our eye, then we have nothing to fear.

I perceive there is NO threat from N. Korea. Had one of their recently launched missles hit us it would have been a fluke, it was headed in the wrong direction to hit the US, also it was unarmed and not well controlled maybe not under control at all according to CNN. Would have been just space junk falling.

Korea should be seen as a potential it extremely is why they're finding out the missle, they say it may eventually be able to achieve the coast of usa of america. i imagine Jay Leno suggested it the perfect...... "we want to in ordinary words remind Korea that we've 10,000 missles that is there in about an hour" i'm hoping there is not any WWIII, my heritage instructor suggested "WWIII will be fought with nuclear guns and WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones" that fairly is authentic

What I think of the "threat" from NK? Well I think they will not do such act lunching a nuclear weapon againts US, if they do intend, they will not be successfull on it. We got a reliable intel community and we have the best defense. I there will be an armed conflict with NK, I am hoping to be deployed. I want to know how skilled are the NK pilots
If they do make an attack on US, lets bag them and tag them all.

NK basically proved that they're skills at making missles is pretty pathetic. If that missle had hit us, we would have retaliated by wiping their pathetic little country off of the map.
