God is a fictional character created by the Cristianity. All religions make up a fictional, "god" to be the one to look up too. But the same is true with any hero, they are seen as good and all knowing, doing the right thing. Why do we punish basketball stars in the media when they do drugs? Because children look up to them as hero's. Today we have plenty of gods in our society, Presidents, Congressmen and women, Business Leaders, and many more . You can be your own god and live in this perfect world once you learn respect for others and yourself. The teachings of religion are to teach you how to act within society. Yet believing you are nothing is univeral to religion and is true, as you are nothing in terms of the larger part of society.
Religion is more a philosophy of how to live a proper life. But holding steadfast to every religious principle seems ridiculous these days. Religion today kills more people then it does good.

He'd say "As Jesus, I was one of you." How is it that everyone forgets that Jesus was one of the trinity? Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He (God) was all three. Jesus was a "slob" like one of us. He just managed to do it with no sin and a lot more class.

Isn't that what Christians believe? That God in the form of Jesus was one of us?
Anyway, here are the lyrics for everyone. It's just a song and I feel like it's ok. It's just asking us to think.
If God had a Name,
what would it be and -
would you call it to His face
if you were faced with Him
in all His Glory,
what would you ask
if You had just one question...
and yeah, yeah
God is great
Yeah, yeah
God is good
Yeah, yeah
yeah yeah yeah
What if God was one of Us?
Just a slob like one of Us?
Just a stranger on a bus, trying to make His
way home...
If God had a face,
what would it look like and
would wou want to see
if seeing meant that
You would have to believe
in things like
Heaven and in Jesus and the Saints
and all the Prophets and...
Yeah, yeah
God is great
Yeah, yeah
God is good
Yeah, yeah
yeah yeah yeah
What if God was one of Us?
Just a slob like one of Us?
Just a stranger on a bus,
trying to make His way Home...
Tryin' to make his way Home
Back up to Heaven all alone...
Nobody callin' on the phone
'Cept for the Pope maybe in Rome...
and Yeah, yeah
God is Great
Yeah, yeah
God is Good
Yeah, yeah
yeah yeah yeah
What if God was one of Us?
Just a slob like one of Us?
Just a Stranger on a bus,
trying to make His way Home...
just tryin to make his way home...
Just like a holy rolling stone...
