Ah,another fine topic not covered in the child rearing books. Yes, for his comfort and health do remove his boogies - don't cram your adult size digit up there, but do remove it.

Funny you should ask - I always considered this one the most shining examples of things they forget to tell you in child rearing 101 - y ou will pick another human beings nose.

Good Daddy!!

If by pick his nose you mean stick your finger in there then no. Squeeze a tissue to his nose and tell him to blow. Or you can give him a tissue and let him try and figure it out on his own under your supervision.

Ever heard the saying...
"You can pick you friends; you can pick your nose; but never pick your friend's nose!!" Just substitute the word son for friend and ...well, you get the picture! Try Scotties; they are really soft!

no, you should get him a tissue and make him blow! He's got to learn. stop picking his nose it is unsanitary and besides when he gets to school he just might think it is ok for him to pick his friends nose! you can pick your nose, he can pick his nose, but you just can't pick your friends nose!

Uhh...Dad, picking? Uh...no. Teaching him to use a tissue and either blowing his nose or DISCREETLY using the tissue in a twisted fashion to "probe"? OK.

You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose. (Something to remember...)

After reading your other question about the boy's butt -- I really hope you are just joking. If not, please get some help other than the internet -- if you don't have any relatives that can teach you a little about parenting, I'm sure child services could suggest a counselor... Good luck...

Vacuum cleaner hose will do the trick. Do you do everything for this child? Pick his nose, wipe his azz? Teach him how to do it himself.

At least I know I'm not the only one that does it. You can't always get a booger otu with a tissue. My daughter's 2 and if she can't get it out, I'll help her. No shame in that. We want our kids to be comfortable.

Why do you pick all of your kids orafices for them? Teach him to use a tissue. Or teach him to pick it and wipe his boogers on you.
