I can't say that is true -- I was at the Rob Zombie show a few months ago, and there was a fantastic mix of people there

The culture is more racial than it was 30 years ago. People now look to have their own race reinforced in everything they do: movies they go to, TV shows they watch, music they listen to. If it doesn't look like them, they're not interested.

Hence, black people don't know about The Beatles, and the power of pop/rock melody; and white people don't know about Stevie Wonder, and magic of Motown backup musicians playing with a great songwriter.

Because ,they are more in to hip-hop music instead of listening to what "whitey" listens to .They would rather listen to music which promotes immoral behavior and violence then ,peace , love and unity. And rock-n-roll music isn't what they'd consider cool or with it .
