The first step to healing this intense grief is to go to a therapist, who can help you navigate through your own grief. You may also want to research some support groups for Al-anon.. no I don't think you are an alcoholic, but the relationship with your sister was affected by alcohol. Also, you may want to join a bereavement support group as well. Your local hospital should have this information. Please consider therapy.

I am sad for your losses. Remember that people grieve in different ways and at different paces. Don't let anyone tell you that you should be able to "get over it" or "just move on"...you take it little by little until you start to get some peace about how to integrate the losses into your life.
I wish you well, and I hope you find your way.

First of all I am very sorry for your loss. I lost both of my parents within 3 months of each other. Give yourself time to grieve. Join a grief counseling group. Surround yourself with people and things that make you happy.

Try meeting people that are dealing with similar griefs you are, or try writing poetry. My grandmother died of cancer two years ago, and its hard to deal with, but she's in a better place and happy. just try and remember the good memories you had with your brother and sister.
