they should not blame it on religion... they should blame it on the lack of morals in this land.. and the ones trying to take god out of everything.. can you imagine how this world will be when they are not allowed to teach young children about god...and a person is afraid to admit they know the lord...that is one thing that is really wrong with this world.. and the politicians are crooked and the court system is so messed up...and they waste money on other things and do not really care about the people.. the rich get richer and the poor get poorer...

I must say that Mr. Brown is WRONG WRONG WRONG. It is peoples attitudes toward rightousness that really causes the conflict. Rightousness has alwyas been and will always be.

Oh well, these people are not going to be able to erase rightousness. It will never go away.

It is also human nature for people to blame everything else, but themselves. Everyone is right in their own eyes which make God's ways "conveniently" seem wrong to them.

What they are really saying is that religion is getting in the way of their unrightousness, causing them distress.

They are mislead, but all of us were mislead at some point in our lives.

Those people you're talking about are bad-mouthed Atheists. They blame religion on everything, but I wonder what they have to say about Christian churches donating $2.5 million to the Hurricane Katrina fund?

I think it is because they are trying to put the blame on someone. And since religion seems to be the hot topic of discussions lately, they think that its alright to put the blame on religion. Its sad, and it probably will never end.

I don't know either, all the problems in the Middle East, with Iran, Irak, Israel et al, with Afghanistan, Northern Ireland, Bible Belt, Sudan, Turkey,...

they have nothing to do with religion.
