I would never consider leaving Earth. I don't know how scientists would be able to re-create an Earth-like environment, with grass, flowers, trees, rivers, ponds, waterfalls, jungles, etc. Mars would be much too boring without those things.

Mars can never feasably support life.

Read C. S. Lewis' book, "Out of the Silent Planet" to get an interesting perspective on Mars.

i wouldnt hesitate-not likely at present tech though-easier to do moon but it is a cool thought -thanks for qustion-keep the peace old hippie here
