Pls don't give me the answer that 'media' makes them out? R u so stupid as to beleive the media? how do u know that this 'media' isn't lying to u? that 'media' is hiding the real truth?

whynotaskdon. u gave this "verse of sword' as u call it. (I don't ) but u fail to see the background of this verse. This verse was revealed when a treaty with the Muslims the non-muslims made was broken. The non-muslims broke the treaty n they attacked Muslims in the night n therefore, Allah told them to war. ISn't this what we do in war? We attack, lie in wait, take prisoners n so on. N y didn't u post those verses which teach the muslims to be peaceful? I hope u r not Jehova's Witness because they seem to think that even if someone is killing u, u should just smile n let them kill u.

Of course the media is not being 'honest'! That goes w/out saying, IF you know what's really going on. But the real reason is that some very outspoken imams have decided that anyone that is different from them is an enemy. This is especially true when they talk/preach about anyone who's faith is different from theirs. They will even comdemn other Muslims, so its not just jews or christians. As long as they refuse to follow the teaching of Islam, they will continue to murder each other, as well as anyone else they disagree with.
Do you think its right to kill someone because they have an opinion different from yours? What if someone decides its alright to kill you because your opinion is different form theirs? Would that make them "not good"?
Even Quran says there is truth and light in Scriptures. If Quran says it, why do many not believe?--See Sura 5, Al-Ma’ida [The Table], verses 46, 47.

It is not the Muslim people, it is the small groups of terrorists that live in Iraq and other middle eastern areas. It is all a horrible generalization brought on from ignorance. If people learned to be more understanding the world would be a much more peaceful place.

I truly beleive that the majority of non-muslim (believers of Islam)
people do not hate muslims.
but i also think that Muslim people cannot live in true peaceful harmony with any of their non-muslim brothers and sisters for their religous teachings would not allow it.
Organized Religion should not be segregated into factions or sects(ie Muslims,Catholics,Judaism or what have you)
for they are the teachers of hatred and fear towards towards other Brothers and Sisters of Earth.
Man has the insatible urge to dominate and corrupt the one ounce of decency that our universal god gave us.
P.S. i have never heard god tell me or anyone else that it is all right to harm ourselves or our Fellow Man /Woman or children
but many men and women as well as children have.

i dunno...i don't anyone(or at least anymore) who got somethin against muslims cause i went and either set them straight or somethin. i prefer not to associate myself with people like that. people listen to almost anything the media says nowadays so that's why people be prejudice without a real reason; a good chunk of the time they don't got a clue what they talkin about! i got a few muslim friends here and there so i know it ain't right to be sayin all that sh!t. cause when people be sayin stuff about their race, religion, etc they expect to be treated differently. plain & simple, some people are fickle, close minded, hypocrites, etc. i don't know what everbody be thinkin, but that's how it is sometimes..

Because of a few sick individuals who did terrorist acts and claimed to be doing it for Islam. Islam does not preach violence or hate. Another problem is that many Christians assume that people who are not Christian are not good. These people seem to forget that Jesus taught us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Muslims are the children of God as are Christians and Jews. When we put each other down, we are putting down God's children...I don't know about you, but I do not want God to be mad at me for hating His child.

I think the average person feels like they have to not like something/someone..so they are able to express thier anger & frustation in life towards one group of people...when others join in ..it seems to fuel the fire so others keep making stupid unrealistic comments....anyway talking bad about others is easier than trying to learn about them....this is why racism will always be present in America..no one wants to change thier opinion of what they don't understand.......
