HCG levels drop off quickly after a miscarriage - if you ovulated again since the miscarriage, it's possible you may be pregnant again, especially if you have a positive pregnancy test. If I were you, I'd make an appointment with an OB/GYN for a checkup, ultrasound, and beta pregnancy test.

A pregnancy test will show you are pregnant up to 8 weeks after giving birth or having a miscarriage.
To be on the safe side maybe you should go back to your doctor cause they can tell by what levels your hcg is to know you are pregnant.
You could be pregnant though....
your health after miscarriage
HCG Levels
Most women can expect their levels to return to a non-pregnant range about 4 - 6 weeks after a pregnancy loss has occurred. This can differentiate by how the loss occurred (spontaneous miscarriage, D&C procedure, abortion, natural delivery), and how high the levels were at the time of the loss.
Health care providers usually will continue to test HCG levels after a pregnancy loss to ensure they return back to 5.0.
menstrual cycle
Ovulation can occur 14 days after a miscarriage with the next period 28 days after the miscarriage, but there is great personal variation. It may take a few cycles before your regular pattern is re-established. This means that you can become pregnant 14 days after a miscarriage if you resume a normal cycle immediately, but there is a great personal variation. It can take up to 6 or 7 weeks for your next period to come if you had "natural" miscarriage (i.e. no D&C or tablets).
contraception
If you do not wish to become pregnant immediately, you should start using contraception straight after the miscarriage.
Good luck

It depend's on how far along you were but you say 7 weeks you should'nt be testing positive unless you was far enough along and they did'nt give you a D.N.C,you know when they clean you out.Now I have lost 3 babies and sometimes I would test about three weeks after and my test came out positive to but my H.C.G was high I was about 13 weeks and I had a spontaneous abortion. It just happened I was sitting down lookung at t.v and just started cramping. So I guess it depends on how far you were. But once you have a misscarriage your H.C.G usally drop pretty fast, but I'm glad you are going to the doctor's tomorrow. And if you was active after the misscarriage it's a chance that you could be because you are wide open. You was'nt suppose to be active that soon. You should've let your body rest a couple of weeks and then try again.Goodluck to you,and I am very sorry for your loss God bless you.

i'd get a second opinion or ask for yet another ultrasound. there's a probability you've been to early to work out the toddler. become there a minimal of a sac? in the adventure that they verify back with ultrasound and do not see a toddler you may want to need to request a D&C and characteristic them scrape your uterus and sparkling it out so that you'll attempt to start up conceiving back. Sorry on your loss even if that's in incontrovertible actuality that :( i'm miscarrying immediately myself :(

Try and relax, take a deep breath, and talk to your physician tomorrow. He or she will ease your mind, and explain what you need to know. Waiting is the worst part, go to bed early and before you know it you'll be at the doctors office!
