Do you know where they were married and where he went to school and anything else about him, when I was trying to locate my father and sibs I went on line and searched all the blogs and actually found my brother, just by useing his name, if you know that they were married in a perticular church then you could call and see if there is a pastor or someone that still knows him, if you know where they were divorced then you can go in and get the papers they are public record and you may be able to get the last known address and start a trail there, I have been here, all the luck to you and you are welcome to keep in touch if you have more questions...

Go to USA people search. Make sure you have correct spellings. I typed in William Virgile Abernathy Arkansas click to continue a list of names popped up from 1-19 Look at #10 listed only William Abernathy -city & state was Pangburn Ar. relatives--Anita 29 yrs old---Jacquelin and Jacqueline Also #2 listed William Virgile Abernathy city&states--DaytonTx --Riser Ar-- Pine Bluff Ar possible relatives Laura Lee --Joshua Wayne-Christine Abernathy. You didn't give a stae so I guessed it was Arkansa because of your email arkansas girl. Try Arkansas public records Good Luck!

try typing his name in a sesarch engine like yahoo or try www.hctgs.org/family/abernathy.htm. i typed his details in and found there were lots of deceased abernathy. i went www.rootsweb.com. and yes there was a person by name who married a karen sorry if it is dad.... i also found a william virgle aberanthy JR.

SocialSecurity records (avaialble at www.rootsweb.com) showa William V.Abernathy born 26 May 1953 in Texas died in March 2005. I very much hope this is not your dad but I thought I should give you the info. The SS record will also show the exact birth date and, I believe, birth state.
