Yes I most certainly do.

First of all, yes I do believe in God, that is The Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit.

In reply to what sebek 12345 had to say:

For your first point you are right on when you say that God is omniscient and thus must know from the beginning who is going where. This is a difficult topic to address, especially to someone who is not a Christian. I would like to touch more on this subject later.

For your second point, of course God is not spontaneous; why would He need to be? As He knows everything (because He planned and designed everything), there is no need for Him to change His mind. And of course He has His own free will, as do we to an extent (we were created, however God always was, is, and will be, thus we are subject to His will, and He is subject to none). God does the things He does for His pleasure. This does not mean He loves the pain and suffering of the world. He has allowed the world to become as it is to show how much He loves us and how far He is willing to go for us (shown through His Son, Jesus Christ).

To your fourth and fifth points, you are again exactly right. You are constantly amazing me with your mental capacity. Not many people are able to even come close to recognizing the truths you have mentioned. Indeed, something, or rather, Someone, has always existed, and He is indeed infinite. What you have acknowleged is proof that there is a Creator. For surely this infinite being would have to be extremely intelligent, and thus space is entirely out of the question. Science, as more and more is discovered, proves this to be true.
If you want more on this topic, I would recommend a book entitled "Reasonable Faith: The Scientific Case for Christianity" by Dr. Jay L. Wile. It is an excellent beginning for looking for the answers to your questions about God.

This is the real Book Freak speaking;

I believe in Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and God, our Heavenly Father. The person who was on here earlier is a dear friend and loving sister in Christ. She makes a good point that I think a lot of people should listen to as well as sebek 12345. I have tried to get through to some people and I'm not sure if it worked, so all those who are kind and interested in what a Christian girl has to say on the topic up by the question above please read above and open your eyes if they are not already open.

There are 2 aspects to God.

First, God is a Creator. Only science can ultimately tell us how creation came about. Religion is faith based.

Since God is a Creator, and God creates for a reason, then as created beings, we are created for a reason and purpose. Thus, the sanctity of human life is justified.

Second, there are many other attributes to God. All religions are faith based and no one, I mean no one can prove who God is. Belief in God is important, since God created us. However, our beliefs are our own.

Is it possible to make a good choice. Well yes. If the religion aligns with the sanctity of human life, and achieving the purpose we were created for, then it is on the right track.

The right question should have been, which God do you believe in and why?

Absolutely. I believe in God.

Answering Sebek12345.
From a physics standpoint your discussion of the universe predates Einstein. You basically described Obers paradox: "If the universe is infinite how can there be a night?" Einstein answered this with E=MC^2. Now I understand that the educational system has failed America, but in very simple terms this equation says that the universe is finite, but unbounded in 3 dimensions. AKA there is no edge.

If you look at the Earth in 2 dimensions, you see a finite mass that you can circle indefinately. In otherwords the Earth is finite and unbounded in 2 dimensions.

According to Einstein and other physists the universe consists of more than 3 dimensions, but our perceptions of 3 dimensions give us a limited perception of reality.

Simply, E=MC^2 says:
* there is no edge
* there is no expansion (as you described it) but movement within (which explains why some things are moving toward us and others away)
* the universe is finite

Regarding Predestination

You have convinced me that you doubt Calvanism.

Yes. I believe in the God who created the Heavens and the Earth, who knows every single thing about us, and has loved even if we don't love Him. His forgiveness is perfect, and He is not out to get us. He longs to show you His plan for your life. He created you with a purpose.His love is deeper than any of us can comprehend and because of His great love, He sent His son, Jesus to take our place on the cross. Every sin was paid for past and present- Our debt is paid in full. If we only acknowledge our need for this gift-- and ask forgiveness and turn our lives over to the Savior, you will know,His promises are true. I cannot make anyone else believe --but the Bible says " For God so loved the world, that he gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him will not die (an eternal death) but have everlasting life. For God did not come to condemn the world, but to save it." John 3:16,17 That is the God I believe in with all my heart and look forward to seeing face to face someday!

First we need to determine which God we are talking about here. Are you referring to the real God, the unconditionally loving God who we are all a part of? This is the one Jesus was talking about when he said the kingdom of God is within you. The one who is our dearest friend and closest companion.

Or are we talking about the angry little judgmental God that lives on some far off cloud called heaven. The one who seems to be more concerned with our errors than he is with our successes? You know the egocentric needy little God that always wants people to worship him. The one who is always unavailable because he is only a fantasy? You need to specify if you want a real answer

I believe in a spiritual body made of many and yet the many are made by the one in other words the spiritual realm is more then a place of spirits judging mankind but one of constant coming and goings between realms to create more of the physical universe,which is constantly being renewing and making changes in our realm and the spiritual one now do I believe in one Eternal God no I believe in a eternal council of spiritual creators who are all equal and and act as one or individually.

I have no idea what your definition of GOD is? I am going from the current standard set forth in dictionaries. No, I do not believe in the existence of God, god, supreme being or anything of that nature.

No. Not much sense wasting time on a bunch of fairy tales. God is for people who can't accept not knowing everything. And nobody likes a know-it-all.

Besides, George W. believes in God. Isn't that proof enough?
