Actually I don't believe it is either one.
True Christianity is more of a lifestyle than a religion.
It's the way we live, conduct ourselves and treat others.
It's about the heart of man.
Religions are for the most part about appearances. The way you dress, the size of the Bible you carry and the number of times you attend Church each week.
Surprising answer considering I'm a Pastor.
But true non the less.

This is a religion. To be born again means to believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and to receive him into your heart (Read Romans 10:9-11 in KJV). If you read the King James Version Bible it tells you everything you need to know about Jesus Christ's returning. It also tells about the events that will be taking place until his returning. Events are slowly starting to take place. Jesus shed his blood for us and for me to try and picture that and from things that I have read and seen it is hard for me not to accept him. Just think would you prefer to live with him eternally or to live in hell? That isn't hard for me to answer. But Jesus says in the bible that people would deny him. Look at the people in the Middle East fighting that has been taking place since Cane and Able. The twin towers, it also talks about the coming down of those in the bible. Everything that is taking place know and will be taking place is in the bible. So no it is not a cult!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Certainly not a cult, but not a religion. Christianity is a belief system - believing that Jesus Christ really is God, and He came to the earth to save us from our sinful selves. You either believe it or not. He gave you free will and the choice to decide.
