The God of Abraham is the same God we worship as Christians and the same Muslims worship in Islam. It would seem a variety of religions are based on at least one common truth. Those based on other idols went by the wayside and I can only imagine it was because they began to realize the falsehood in what they believed. Some religions were invented by individuals seeking control over their people. The God we recognize has transcended past individual and governmental control maintaining the same basic truth in totally different cultures and religions. One has to wonder why that is, if not truth itself.
