If america was invaded?

If america was invaded, and you dont have a decent army to defend the country, dont you think that many americans will do what the terrorists in iraq are doing to get the invaders out of their country?

if yes, wouldnt that make those americans terrorists too??

i said IF.. so if your answer is gonna be AMERICAN WILL NEVER BE INVADED.. or USA RULES!!..or something along that line, please dont answer this question..

The terrorists are protesting the founding of a legitimate democracy. IF we were invaded, then we would be rising against a totalitarian takeover. The U.S. theoretical insurgency wouldn't target innocent civilians like the Iraqi insurgency does. The Iraqi insurgents are for anarchy or restoration of a dictatorship. The would-be American insurgency would be for the re-establishment of democracy. Furthermore, the Iraqi insurgency requires the use of foreign terrorists to operate. The American people would fight their own war.

The terrorists are fighting to keep a dictatorship type government in power. Remember what we found when we went there. The acid baths, the rape rooms, the "people" chipper? They are not for the rights of the Iraqi people. Plus, we did not invade their country. They came looking for a fight and we are defending our country. Here is a sample of their "fondness" for us infidels. The first hit on the Towers, all the attacks on our military overseas, the US Embassy bombing, and 9/11. In case nobody mentions it. The terrorists believe that ALL infidels should be killed not just Americans.
However, We would be fighting for an already free nation that is under attack. I am not sure that I can see the comparison here.
One question for you. Do you think that America had the right to defended ourselves after the Japanese attacked Peril Harbor?

No because more than half of our country did not ask to be rescued from mass murders like Saddam & we have not gone against the UN & refused nuclear weapons inspectors into our country. We would never blow up our innocent citizens with hopes of getting 1 soldier or political leader. Defending your nation is so different than terrorism & if you can not see the difference it is not worth trying to explain it. In WWII many nations defended themselves but they did not kill thousands of their own citizens or go our of country & blow up innocent people with war being declared as happen during 9-11.

having played war in S.E. Asia I am sure I would fight as would most, I just do not see Americans blowing themselves up, it's just not us. Willing to die to save others but not die just so we can kill others. Never can understand that thought process, you can kill so many more if you stay alive, waste of resources
