I am now 5 days late. I have been regular for the past 8 or 9 months or so. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, so we are wishful, but not hopefull. I say this because we have been trying to concieve for 7 months now.
I have endometriosis, so it would be a miracle if I did get pregant. I have abdominal pain every day because of it, so I can't tell any differance in heaviness or anything.
I know when I should have ovulated, and when I should have started. I ovulate pretty late in my cycle, so it is still too early to do a home pregnancy test. We did have sex during the week of ovulation.
I have been having crazy mood swings, nausia, a bigger appitite, and my breasts are tender and getting bigger. I know these things could be caused by pms. I'd just like to know some opinions.

Anything is possible and you definately have some of the signals. But until a test comes up positive you never know. Even then I have heard of false positives, but with modern day home tests, they are very unlikely.

We had four children, the doctor always used the same over the counter test we did, they said it was as reliable as anything else they could use, and much cheaper.

Good luck, I hope things turn out well for you.

First off I am not trying to be rude but I don't Know what endometriosis.

Next, my sister has a lot of medical problems (just about all, she had a lot of pregnant symptoms when she wasn't) when she got pregnant she had a lot of the same symptoms you described. She didn't think she was pregnant (in fact the only way she found out was she was going to get artifically insemanated)

Hope you luck take a pregnancy 2 weeks after your period is missed. If you still have doubts go to the doctor and ask them to do blood. My daughter never showed up in the urine tests but she did the blood.

It's very possible. Those are definitely some of the symptoms of pregnancy. As the person before stated, you could get a pregnancy test--at least that would positively tell you that you ARE pregnant (because you could be pregnant and not have produced enough hormone to be measureable yet).

Good luck!

Could be pregnant or could be other conditons, like phantom pregnancy, or the stress form wanting a baby so badly is making you late. There are tests that you can take as early as a couple of days. Test and see!

Just go and buy a test. You can buy one anywhere, you just pee on the stick, wait a few - - and there will be your answer. You can take the test now since you are late. Most tests you can even take a few days before your period is supposed to start.

its still too early to say. if your period hasnt started by the middle of next week, then the chance is that you are pregnant. Wait another week, then take a pregnancy test.

Since you have endimetrosis, id recommend seeing your obsetrician soon if it comes out positive.

actually, a doctor can tell if u are pregnant more quickly than a home test. they can spot it even before home tests and are usually more accurate, too. so, u should probly go to the doctor and see just in case u are u dont want to risk losing the baby. get it checked out by the doctor.

Your period is late enough for an early detection pregnancy test to be effective. Good luck and try to be as stress-free as possible!

Why in the world are you asking all of this on a Yahoo site where people who have no knowledge of things like this??? Ask your doctor!! Calm down.....take it easy....back off......relax. I think pregnancy tests are available for very early detection. You waited all this time.....a little longer won't kill you!!!
