Secchi just means dried. Pomodori secchi is dried tomatoes. There are wonderful recipes online for pomodori secchi on fettucini. Happy eating.

Dried tomatoes, AKA sun-dried tomatoes.

Pomodoro is tomato (like you've probably seen on pasta sauce jars), and on bottles of dry wine, they're labeled "sec", which means dry in French (?). Secchi is just the Italian way of saying dry.
