Just go to the hospital where they were born and pay them to make you new ones. At least that's what I did and it only cost me $15.

Wrong category, me thinks.

However, birth certificates don't get "renewed." If you have lost them, you need to replace them and for that you have to apply to the Department of Vital Statistics for Births, Deaths, and Marriages. Easy to find on the internet. Check with the government website for the state your children were born in.

If you need certified copies of your children's birth certificates, do an online search for "vital records" along with the name of the state where they were born. You should find information on how to obtain the certificates--including where to write, costs, what information is necessary. You may even find an online form to use. Good luck!

What do you mean "renew?"
Get a copy for a lost one? Call the county they were born in. Sometimes they charge a fee. If you mean something else, it is probably not legal, or at least it doesn't sound that way. So I suggest you put it out your mind.

I don't know what that means.

I have never "renewed" my children's birth certificates and most of them are adults now.

There originally issued birth certificates seem to work whenever one is needed, as when they received drivers license.

They are good forever. Why would you need to 'renew' them? It isn't like they need to get born again.
