Hey! I've been swallowing my gum since I can remember, and I have never had any problems with it. My friends say they could never swallow gum because it feels slimey going down their throat or something--I've never noticed that, personally. I know the whole "gum will stay in your system for seven years" thing is nothing more than an old wives' tale, but I was just wondering if anyone else out there swallows their gum, and if you do/don't, why? Alright, well, thanks for the feedback!

I've always swallowed my gum. I guess I don't like throwing it away or leaving it to stick on something.

I like to chew gum for reasons I can't explain, and I do it everyday. The only thing I don't do is swallow my gum, not because of all the bad crap some people say will happen to you, but because of the texture of used up gum go down my throat, which I find too unpleasant.

i do. ever since i learned to chew gum in the first place. i had a bad experience when i was seven years old. i fell asleep while chewing gum. i woke up later in the morning with it in my hair..... OUCH!!!

I never and my friends little girl did and her poop was like string so don't do it.
