When you're on a budget..and you need a cake.....wellllll...sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
Actually...if your family is like mine and all have great senses of humor..giving a cake that reads Happy Birthday Aunt Alice to your mother can actually be a real hoot.
We're a little better off moneywise now and can go the cake with no typos route.

Hey, if I'm craving chocolate cake and it says "happy birthday", I'll eat it just the same and enjoy the extra flowers too!

I have just to buy the cake. Who cares what it says, I cut it apart before anyone reads it anyway. If it is the right flavor, I grab it.

Me too. Me and my boys love them. I like the plain chocolate but kids like marble or cupcakes which are usually chocolate go figure we can't get the chocolate cake tho :)

YES! We bought it in the bakery of the local IGA store and had them write congratulations Chip and Muffy. Of course there was no Chip and Muffy but we had to celebrate something!!! Right? Right! Congratulations all you Chip and Muffie's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No but then I don't send sympathy cards to one in the hospital or get well cards to the funeral home.
However it would be in order to send a sympathy card to one married to Marge Williams.

I haven't but, my sister does and she especially likes those mini cupcakes. She said it's something about the frosting she loves.
