I have super long hair. This year i'm going to a new school. i want to start fresh. so i've decided to chop of my hair. i want it really short. i want it short cause i am giving it to locks of love. please help me with some really cute hair styles!!!!!

I have very short hair--I cut off 16 inches two years ago and have had it short ever since. I have a pixie cut that I wear very messy. It's about one inch all over and it's naturally wavy so it sort of flips everywhere (sort of like Halle Berry used to wear hers). As long as you're a confident person--go for it--the key to having great short hair is that it should look like a "well-structured mess". I always use Bed Head hair products. Everything they make is directed to short styles.

First look through magazines to get ideas of the styles you like. Then go to a really nice salon have a professional show / tell you what would work best for your hair type. Short hair looks best in a bob with layers. That's awesome that you are donating your hair.

I gave mine to lock of love and I am growing it out again. i gave over a foot 12 inches +. how short is it going to be. I wanted to get it cut one last time before i went back to school this siummer so i got it cut 2 day ago. you cant do much with really short hair .. let me think . no, not much. flip it out. maybe your hair won't be long enough to, i don't know sweety, but thanks for giving back to the world. I t feels great, and you will feel about 10 pounds lighter when you first stand up after it i s gone.

that's so awesome you're doing locks of love.
a hairstyle I've always liked (although not on myself but I'm sure you're a lot prettier) was this bob with bangs, almost like what that girl said up there about Velma Kelly, but the ends are like choppy looking like it was an accidental thing that happened, your hair getting cut. all the hairstylist does is thin out the ends of your hair in different directions. it sounds wierd but it isn't. and the thinned out at the bottom makes for excellent curls no matter what length your hair's at and I highly recommend doing it.

Dont cut all your hair off unless you are absolutly sure that is what you want and you are ready for the chage and you have a high self esteem. I think you should just cut off 3 inches or so and get a shampoo and condition. But really its up to you!

DON'T GIVE IT TO LOCKS OF LOVE! They are not what they seem.
According to their website:
The donations are not for cancer kids.
The wigs are not free
They recieve 2000 donations a WEEK
They make a wig for every 10 donations they recieve
They make 1000 wigs a YEAR - Do the math

a lot of ppl look good with short hairstyles for example u can imitate paris hiltons short cut, pink's short cut but i recommend side bangs over your face thats real nice

you should have it cut in short layers that way you can curl or flip your hair out making it look super cute...like nicole richie or something
