Sanity is not determined solely by surroundings. If your crazy, 9 out of 10 times, it's because you're born with it. Still, casual clothing days often take the edge off. I'm sure a few little debbies in the employee lounge wouldn't hurt either. Just make sure to pay attention to someone you find frustrated and see to it their personal issues are discussed and hopefully resolved. This keeps the workplace happy and improves moral.
