My boyfriend and I have 7 years apart between us. I found that instead of waiting for me to be "old enough" that if i dated other guys than i had more fun during the wait and gained experience both mentally and physically that he already had. I had dated someone older my freshman year of highschool and found that i usually felt out of place with him because he had so much life experience that i just hadn't had a chance to live yet. so the age doesn't make much difference, but the experience did. And to deal with the jealosy, don't try and ignore it, that makes it worse. Just try and figure out what you like about him, and try and figure out a way you guys could truly work.
