I was pulled over and given a ticket because my eyes were closed and my hands were together instead of on the steering will. Is this a violation of my freedom of religion? Will the officer go to hell?

yes! how dare he! he shall burn horribly.

surely God should protect you while driving if you're praying too. If not, its like praying before bed and getting hit by a meteorite.

I believe in freedom of religion, but not freedom to be a retard. I have nothing against any religion or prayer, but driving with your eyes closed is dangerous. The officer was right, and you are overreacting, as well as being REALLY stupid. And no, the officer will not go to hell for protecting the other drivers from someone who drives with their eyes closed.

No because the governing law supercedes any of your religious beliefs. Freedom of religion means you are entitled to an opinion. Freedom of assembly means you are allowed to practice your religion openly in designated or sanctioned areas. If you practice or preach anything against the Constitution, Ammendments, and Laws elsewhere you will be held accountable.

It would have been a violation of your freedom of assembly if your moving vehicle was your place of worship.

You don't have to close your eyes and put your hands together to pray!!!!!!!!!!! It's a violation of my safety if your eyes are closed and your hands are not on the steering wheel. Keep away from me will you are driving.

No, you have no right endangering the rights and safety of others in that manner. If you need to pray, you need to pull over first. The officer will not burn in hell for this. Why is it that we can always rationalize that we are always in the right? Sorry, not this time, Jack.

You were praying while you were driving? You couldn't wait till you got home or something? You could have pulled over and done it.

You deserve that ticket due to stupidity.
