I agree for many reasons, aside from the fact that God is older than any political party in the world to date, which were created by mankind to distinguish his own views towards the rest of humanity. But here is the simplest explanation:
Homosexuality for instance, Democrats are "for" it,or at least indifferent to it. But God destroyed two very major cities in history because it was abomination in His sight. So God definately isn't a Democrat. Republicans, for the most part, are against the issue but at the same time teach intolerance and flex their might over anyone who they disagree with. These are clearly NOT signs of Grace or Forgiveness. War never teaches Grace and certainly not Forgiveness, so therefore, God can not be a Republican. Both parties, no matter how much they disagree, they do agree on one thing, they both want power to rule the people and they both love money. Neither of these are Godly traits. If God wanted to "rule" the people, why then would he create us to have free choice. And God definitely doesn't have any use for money.

Well, generally Democrats support Gay marriage...the Christian God, according to the Bible, does not. So that makes the case against God being a democrat. Cristianity also does not support abortion, as many Democrats do.
I have seen a rather intelligent bumber sticker, however, that says "God is not a democrat: if he were, he would have made everyone the same."

I would have to agree since God is a Spirit. I don't think that He is a republican or democrat. i think there are things about both parties that would line up with His Word and Will. I would have to say that I am a Christian and I am Republican (for the moral issues) but my boyfriend is on staff at my church and is a Democrat (for the social issues) I have heard it said, you can't be a Democrat and be a Christian and maybe at one point in my life I might have agreed with that, but I don't think it is that black and white anymore.

I agree... I think some republican values are godly and some are not. They may have some moral issues right, but support business that is greed based. Democrats are not different, they tend to look after the poor and oppressed better, but miss it on other issues. God would not fit into either category, Rather he would fall into a better holy category which would have some of each party, and some completely different values as well.

God does not exist. Republicans and Democrats do exist. Therefor it follows that God cannot be a Republican or Democrat.

God does not care about politics, and would actually frown upon it. Choosing to fallow politics is like worshiping a false god because of the energy, and devotion one puts into their party. I spose in a way that bumper stick is right.

I agree. If I found out God belonged to either of those pathetic excuses for political platforms, I would renounce all religion and become an athiest hermit. Our petty worldy problems are nothing. Also, politicians are the sleaziest people alive. They all need to have their kneecaps kicked in.

i don't really get the bumper sticker but i believe that god loves everyone equally and does not believe in just saving the ecosystems or just saving poor people. i think god loves everyone and everything or else we wouldn't be here in this world.

God is neither. He created His own form of government for which the Son is the King. It's called Theocracy. He is neither the leader of a republic or a democracy. He does not represent you or do you have any say in His matters. He alone creates and judges.
