I have had my family put there they came back but I don't want anyone else to get hurt. So do you think the war will End.

It will take time but it will end.
Unfortunately, George W Bush has opened Pandora's Box and painted a large target on America (and the free world) and Terrorism is a reality that we will have to deal with for much longer than the war will last.

Disputes will never end as long as people have free will. Sometimes those disputes take on violence and require strong measures. When a great nation takes on the task of resolving these issues, all the quacks come out of the woodwork. Never offering a solution to the problem. Some things are worth fighting for. This is one of them. The bad guys want you dead. They don't care who you are, how you vote or whether you agree with them...they want you and all of us dead. I can appreciate that you don't want to see anyone else hurt, but leaving this battle will not get you that wish. It will only make it worse. The Dems know this as well...they just need to create confusion to get their power back.

it has to end some time but you aren't going to see an end while bush is in the white house. we don't belong over there in the first place. we need to worry about our own country before we go off trying to fight wars in other countries. the only reason we are there is because the former bush failed to kill bin laden. he may be a bad man but it was alquida behind 9/11 and we didn't get them, after bush vowed he would get bin laden dead or alive. we went to war with iraq under false pretenses, there were no weapons of mass destruction. our troops should be brought home and bush should be impeached for all his mistakes, and crimes. spying is illegal and he isn't above the law that he can just go and spy on people. so many troops have been killed already....it is time to bring them all home before there is any more who make their journey home in a wooden box.

No. War has always been a factor in human interactions and I think it's fantasy to think that it can end. Many leaders have tried. Humans have tried peace, force, coercion, embargoes, sanctions, "peace rallies" hunger strikes and a full PR blitz. Yet the threat of war is always with us.

Its sad to say but they will still be going on long after we have gone. Its in Man's nature to destroy, thats what really separates us from the other mammals on the planet.
