Like flag burning or pay raises. What do they think are they important to decide on a deadend question or are they waiting to collect a paycheck and head home.

Hey Mother,
Just my opinion, but have you ever watched pro wrestling? Same idea. They all pretend to beat each other up while they are at work. Afterwords, they all go to the same bars and hookers, paid for with your money. Meanwhile, we sit out here in front of our televisions, and root for the the guy we like. We are sheep being led to the slaughter.......

In short, yes. No matter who is in control, the minority will always oppose, if for no other reason than to get attention. There is no cure for this, as it is a side effect of democracy.

It is about how they want voters to perceive them, it is about power: hanging on to it or getting it, it is about making sure the people who give them money keep giving it to them, but it is too rarely about what is best for the American people.

I don't know what is going on in their minds... but sometimes it seems like they focus on the issues that they know "won't be resolved"... to avoid the ones that need to be resolved...

it's quite annoying...
